Leisure Centre Attendant \- The Nuremore Estate by McGettigan's

Job Type: Full\-time, Permanent

The Nuremore Estate by McGettigan's is delighted to recruit Leisure Centre Attendants for our newly refurbished Leisure Centre at the Nuremore Estate in Carrickmacross.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated individuals with a passion for customer service and fitness to join our leisure team.

Main Duties \& Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Leisure Centre is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.


• Follow and enforce health \& safety regulations and hygiene procedures throughout the facility.


• Provide a welcoming, professional, and helpful service to all members and guests.


• Supervise and assist members in the gym area, ensuring safe use of equipment and promoting good fitness practices.


• Carry out reception duties including greeting guests, answering queries, managing bookings, and handling membership sign\-ups and renewals.


• Assist with sales and promotion of memberships and leisure services in a friendly, customer\-focused manner.


• Support the daily operations of the pool, gym, and other leisure facilities as required.


• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Duty Manager.


• Participate in regular training to maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of safety procedures and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.


• A friendly and professional attitude with strong customer service skills.


• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.


• Basic computer and administrative skills.


• A recognised Pool Lifeguard, First Aid, or Fitness Instructor qualification would be an advantage.
