Legal Business Development Manager (International) – London, FTC

I'm recruiting a Legal Business Development Manager for a leading international law firm, on a fixed\-term contract of just under a year. It's a London\-based role with an international remit, covering the firm's EMEA offices across Europe, the Channel Islands and the Middle East, with one BD Coordinator reporting to you and a line into the global marketing and BD lead.

It's a fixed\-term role, so the ask is realistic: you won't be reshaping strategy or BD plans from scratch. What sets you apart is a strong track record of delivering across an international, multi\-office BD function.

Day to day, you'll be:

• Owning RFPs, panel and directory submissions end to end, from content through to follow\-up


• Running award submissions alongside marketing


• Delivering signature events, sponsorships and conferences across the region, start to finish


• Keeping practice and office materials current, and spotting cross\-sell opportunities across practices and jurisdictions


• Supporting partners with client and market research, presentations and CRM

It'll suit someone with at least five years in BD and marketing, ideally within a law firm or professional services firm, comfortable working across international offices and time zones, independently and to deadlines, with sharp attention to detail and strong writing. Line\-management experience is a plus.
