Learning Systems Coordinator

Do you enjoy bringing order to busy systems, keeping records accurate and helping other people get the information they need? This could be a great opportunity to use your administration, data and digital skills in a role that supports learning across CHAS.

We’re introducing a new Learning Management System and need some extra support during this important stage. You’ll join our Learning \& Organisational Development (L\&OD) team and help us manage learning records, reporting, course administration and everyday enquiries.

No two days will be the same \- you might be updating learner records, arranging workshops, producing a compliance report, responding to an enquiry or checking that our learning information is clear and up to date. You’ll also help maintain the spreadsheets, dashboards and systems that allow us to see how learning is progressing across CHAS.

About you

To do well in this role, you’ll need:

• strong administrative and organisational skills, gained in a busy working environment


• strong Microsoft Excel skills, as well as experience using Outlook, Teams and other Microsoft 365 applications


• confidence working with data and producing accurate reports


• experience of maintaining systems, databases or electronic records


• experience of coordinating training, events, meetings or similar activities


• the ability to organise competing priorities and meet deadlines


• clear communication skills and a helpful, responsive approach.

Experience in Learning \& Development, HR or workforce development would be particularly useful. Experience of a Learning Management System or SharePoint would also be welcome.

The role is a 4 month fixed term contract, offered on a part\-time basis of 17\.5 hours per week (2\.5 days). We are happy to consider flexible working patterns, although we would ideally like the hours to be spread across the week, including Monday as a working day to support key operational activities.

Advertised salary will be paid on a pro rata basis, calculated against a 35 hour full\-time working week.

Travel to the Edinburgh office may be required around one day a week, with occasional travel to other CHAS locations.
