  • Support students with communication challenges by utilizing appropriate strategies and tools to enhance their interaction skills

  • Help create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages participation and social interaction among all students

  • Monitor student behavior and provide positive reinforcement to foster good conduct and emotional well\-being

  • Collaborate with specialists such as speech therapists or occupational therapists to reinforce therapy goals within the classroom setting

  • Maintain clear documentation of student progress, activities, and any incidents or concerns
Experience
  • Prior experience working with children in educational or care settings is highly desirable

  • Experience supporting individuals with autism or other disabilities demonstrates your ability to adapt approaches effectively

  • Background in teaching or special education provides a strong foundation for understanding diverse learning needs

  • Hands\-on experience caring for toddlers or young children enhances your ability to engage with early learners

  • Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members, children, and families effectively
