Learning Support Assistant

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our team supporting children across our whole school from Early Years to Key Stage 2, working on a 1:1 basis with a variety of children including pupils with complex physical and medical needs or Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and caring individual who is able to develop a supportive relationship with children. You should be fully committed to all aspects of safeguarding and willing to learn about the needs of the children you would be supporting with implementing strategies set out in the child’s risk assessment.
You will hold qualifications in numeracy/literacy skills or equivalent knowledge and experience, Team Teach training and a Relevant Childcare/SEND qualification e.g. L2/3 Childcare, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
