Hours of work: 11\.66 per week.
Working pattern: Part\-time, term\-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6\.05 weeks annual leave).
As the position is part\-time/term\-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to join our SEN Department in the role of Learning Support Assistant ensuring that our students are able to access the curriculum and receive an education that gives them opportunities for future development.
The post would be suitable for a range of candidates including those who wish to gain experience of working in an educational environment or those who wish to pursue a career in working with students with SEND. The College has an excellent reputation for its work with all students with SEND and we are committed to these students reaching their potential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience or interest in working as a Teaching Assistant.
- Be able to provide appropriate levels of individual attention, reassurance, empathy and support for students learning.
- Have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Have the ability to listen.
- Consistently and effectively implement agreed behaviour management strategies.
