National Grid is hiring a SAP Lead Solution Architect on a permanent basis. This position is based in our Warwick office. This role is designated as hybrid, with an expectation of 3\-4 days per month in the office. Requirements may vary based on business needs and company policy.

What you'll do

As SAP Lead Solution Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in driving large\-scale business transformation projects, ensuring the alignment of IT strategy with business goals, and leading the design and implementation of innovative solutions. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Lead the architecture and technical delivery of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.


• Develop and maintain architecture governance frameworks and processes.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


• Design and implement S4 HANA transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.


• Oversee data modelling, application integration, security architecture, and network architecture.


• Manage and mentor a team of architects and technical specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.


• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from planning to execution and delivery.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, preferably in large\-scale business transformation projects.


• Strong knowledge of SAP Products and Roadmap.


• Experience with data modelling, application integration, security architecture, or network architecture.


• Knowledge of architecture governance and key option analysis with exposure to stakeholder management.


• Experience with SAP cloud applications like SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, ARIBA, SuccessFactors, etc.


• Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering high\-quality results.
