We're looking for a Lead Mortgage \& Protection Advisor with the ambition, energy and commercial drive to make the most of it and help lead the next stage of growth for Bridges Financial Services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high\-performing advisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes, writing significant levels of business and helping others achieve their potential.

As our Lead Mortgage \& Protection Advisor, you will continue to work directly with clients while also supporting the wider team through coaching, guidance and leadership. You'll help maintain high standards across the department, contribute to process improvements and play an important role in shaping the future success of the business.

About the Role

This is a role for someone who enjoys leading by example.

You'll be expected to consistently deliver outstanding mortgage and protection results while helping to create a positive, high\-performance culture across the department. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll support the development of advisors, contribute ideas for improvement and help ensure every client receives an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

Mortgage \& Protection Advice

  • Deliver high\-quality mortgage and protection advice tailored to each client's needs

  • Conduct professional client consultations and fact\-finds

  • Research and recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions

  • Maintain excellent compliance standards across all advice and documentation

  • Deliver an outstanding client experience from initial enquiry through to completion

  • Stay up to date with lender criteria, product changes and market developments
Business Generation \& Performance
  • Consistently write high volumes of mortgage and protection business while maintaining exceptional standards of advice, compliance and client care

  • Set the benchmark for lead handling, client conversion and sales performance

  • Maximise opportunities from Bridges Properties referrals and other lead sources

  • Manage your pipeline and diary effectively to maximise opportunities and results

  • Take ownership of your personal performance and contribution to departmental success
Team Leadership \& Development
  • Support and mentor Tyler and future advisors within the business

  • Lead by example in professionalism, activity levels and client care

  • Share best practice, sales techniques and industry knowledge

  • Assist with onboarding and supporting new advisors

  • Help foster a culture of growth, accountability and continuous improvement
Process Improvement \& Department Support
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiency

  • Ensure workflows and compliance procedures are followed consistently

  • Contribute ideas that support departmental growth and development

  • Work closely with senior leadership to help maintain high standards across the department

  • Support the ongoing evolution and success of Bridges Financial Services
Relationship Building \& Brand Representation
  • Build strong relationships across all Bridges businesses

  • Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, protection providers and key industry contacts

  • Act as an ambassador for the Bridges brand, values and culture

  • Fully embrace and support all Bridges initiatives, projects and business objectives
What We're Looking For
  • CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)

  • Proven track record of mortgage and protection sales success

  • Strong understanding of mortgage and protection products and FCA regulations

  • Excellent communication and relationship\-building skills

  • A natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Commercially driven with a passion for delivering results

  • Positive, proactive and self\-motivated

  • Committed to continuous learning and personal development
