Window to the Womb (windowtothewomb.co.uk) specialise in providing diagnostic ultrasound baby scans, and health services. We are looking for a very special Manager for our clinic in Livingston.
The role will involve taking the lead in the clinic and coordinating the activities of a small team of staff. There will be the usual administrative duties including taking payments and completing paperwork but above all else we are seeking a mature and confident individual who is able to build rapport easily with our customers, handle challenging situations calmly and readily accept responsibility the smooth operation of the clinic and lead from the front.
This will be a part time or full time role and will involve weekend working.
You will spend your working day helping to introduce parents to their unborn baby for the first time; it really doesn't get any better!
Job Purpose:
- Coordinating the clinic team’s activities to optimise the customer experience by ensuring that standards of service
- Ensuring that customer care and rapport building are first class.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining the highest levels of safety and monitoring compliance with all of our procedures and processes.
- Take the lead role in the clinic. Supervise the team to ensure business objectives are achieved.
- Welcome customers and visitors in person or on the telephone; answer enquiries.
- Ensure that all customers are treated with respect, compassion and dignity
- Take appointment calls and booking appointments. Take payments.
- Build rapport with customers by handling anxieties and answering questions
- Coordinate and lead the activities of the other team members by adopting a ‘lead from the front’ attitude
- Ensure that the clinic is clean, safe and well presented at all times
- Maintains stock levels of key items by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
- Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with our processes and procedures

Previous Experience
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience of supervising a small team in a customer service environment. No medical or ultrasound experience is necessary.
Training for this role will provided, however management experience is essential.

Pay: From £17\.50 per hour
