LEAD DRILLER SUPPORT OPERATIVE (NVQ2)

Teckna Group, are a long standing drilling company installing geothermal and water boreholes who due to continued expansion are looking for a Lead Driller Support Operative to work with their team or with other members of the Teckna Team as a Full Time, Permanent job opportunity.

The Opportunity

· Support of the Lead Driller in operation of Comacchio 602 drilling rigs.

· Operation of mud cleaning/recycling equipment.

· Maintain daily site requirements – rod and casing handling

· Operation of Grouting Equipment – GeoLoop 50\-500

· Help the testing of installed loops with record keeping.

· Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance; troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic field repairs.

We require

An enthusiastic and motivated experienced Lead Driller Support Operative who thrives in a team. Although this is a Nationwide role, you must be willing to travel for work with lodging overnight in paid for accommodation, evening meal and breakfast.

The successful candidate will need to pass drug and alcohol screening and be capable of passing both a safety critical medical certificate, and DBS checks.

Qualifications and desired skills

· CSCS card essential

· Emergency First Aid at Work is preferred but not essential

· Telehandler ticket/license is preferred but not essential

· Full UK Driving license

· Effective and clear communication and interpersonal skills

· NVQ Level 2 Land Drilling \- Support Operative preferred.

Remuneration Package

· Competitive salary of £30,000\.00 \- £39,000\.00 \& installed bonus schedule from 300m
