Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care by assisting dentists during various procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit.
- Supervise and support junior dental nurses, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments.
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirming bookings, and rescheduling as necessary to optimise clinic efficiency.
- Ensure all clinical equipment is sterilised, maintained, and used in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate patients on post\-treatment care and answer any questions they may have about their dental health.
- Assist with infection control procedures and maintain a clean, organised clinical environment.
- Support the practice manager in administrative tasks such as stock control and ordering supplies.
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with patients and team members.
- Solid understanding of nursing principles relevant to dental practice.
- Proficiency in IT systems used for record keeping and appointment management.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities as Lead Dental Nurse.
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with health \& safety regulations and clinical standards.
Pay: £14\.00\-£15\.00 per hour
