Lawyer - Private Wealth Disputes

We're looking for an experienced Private Wealth Disputes Lawyer to join our growing team at Associate level or above.

At Brachers, you'll join a collaborative, forward\-thinking team that combines exceptional legal expertise with a client\-focused approach to deliver outstanding results for individuals and families navigating complex private wealth disputes.
What you'll be doing
You'll manage your own varied contentious probate and private wealth disputes caseload, working closely with colleagues across our Litigation and Private Client teams. You'll also:
- Advise clients on a wide range of contentious probate and private wealth disputes matters
- Deliver exceptional client service throughout every stage of a case
- Manage matters independently whilst working collaboratively with Partners and colleagues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, professional contacts and referrers
- Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives
- Support the continued growth and success of the team and wider firm
- Work alongside colleagues across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal support to clients
We're seeking a qualified legal professional, together with:
- Strong experience handling contentious probate and private wealth disputes matters
- The ability to manage and prioritise a varied and demanding workload
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- Confidence working independently and managing your own caseload
- A proactive and commercial approach to business development
- A strong professional network, or enthusiasm to build one
- The ability to consistently deliver high\-quality work and meet performance targets
- A collaborative mindset and desire to contribute to team success
You'll be joining a highly regarded Litigation team of 16 professionals, including Partners, Senior Associates, Associates and Solicitors, supported by legal secretaries.
The Commercial Litigation team is led by Michael Oatham, with this role reporting directly to Deborah Cain, Partner and Head of Private Wealth Disputes. The team is recognised in the Legal 500 as Tier 2 for Contentious Trusts and Probate, while Deborah is also recognised as a Leading Partner and ranked for Private Wealth Disputes in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide.
