Summary
North Hill Gardens is seeking a skilled Landscape Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring financial efficiency across our landscaping projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for landscaping projects.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess project viability from a financial perspective.
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure accurate project specifications.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, and procurement agreements.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and assist in the selection process.
- Maintain accurate financial records for all projects.
- Provide regular reports on project costs, forecasts, and variances to stakeholders.
- Lead monthly applications, project management, and procurement processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in landscape architecture or construction
- Strong understanding of cost control methodologies and quantity surveying techniques.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Proficient in quantity surveying software and Excel for estimating and reporting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards is advantageous.
