Job title: Kubernetes Engineer (Senior/Principal)

Location: London, UK (Hybrid)

Type: Contract / Professional Services

Client: Leading global financial markets infrastructure \& data provider

We're looking for a Kubernetes specialist to build Kubernetes\-based control planes at the heart of a cloud management engine — not just running workloads, but using K8s as a control plane.

Key Responsibilities:

Build \& operate Kubernetes\-based control planes

GitOps\-driven delivery with ArgoCD/Flux

Contribute to platform APIs, guardrails \& golden patterns

Collaborate with AWS platform \& Golang engineers

Required Skills:

Strong hands\-on Kubernetes experience (Senior/Principal level)

ArgoCD / Flux / GitOps

K8s internals: CRDs, operators, reconciliation patterns

Kubernetes as a control plane experience (ideal — e.g. Crossplane, custom operators)

Pay: £24,420\.00\-£62,113\.25 per year

Work Location: In person
