Kitchen Supervisor / Junior Sous Chef – Thai Restaurant (5 days, 40 hrs)

Thai Table is an established Thai restaurant in Caversham, Reading. We are looking for a reliable and hands\-on Kitchen Supervisor / Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is a key role supporting daily service, with the opportunity to progress into a Sous Chef position in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the pass during service


• Garnish and finish dishes


• Coordinate kitchen tickets and ensure smooth service flow


• Pack takeaway orders


• Support chefs during busy periods


• Assist with prep, stock organisation and kitchen operations


• Cover kitchen sections when required

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen


• Reliable and consistent


• Calm under pressure


• Strong team player


• Physically capable (some manual lifting required)


• Thai or Asian cuisine experience is a plus (training provided)

• £550–£600 per week \+ tips


• 5 days per week (approx. 40 hours)


• Stable and established restaurant


• Opportunity to progress to Sous Chef

Pay: £550\.00\-£600\.00 per week
