Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, equipment, and utensils to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware efficiently to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to support continuous food production.
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service periods.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain an organized workspace.
- Must be over the age of 18 years of age due to the hours required.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic understanding of food preparation, cooking processes, and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service environments is advantageous.
