Duties

• Responsible for washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness.


• Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers.


• Ensure all work areas are kept tidy, organized, and free of hazards to promote safety and efficiency.


• Support the storage of ingredients and supplies correctly, including rotating stock and maintaining inventory accuracy.


• Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with health and safety standards.


• Maintain high standards of hygiene by regularly cleaning work surfaces, floors, and storage areas.


• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods and assist with any additional tasks as needed.

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is highly desirable.


• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills are a plus.


• Strong understanding of kitchen safety protocols and hygiene standards.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.


• Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and effectively.

Pay: From £12\.71 per hour

Expected hours: 16\.0 – 20\.0 per week
