Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Ensure all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils are properly washed, sanitized, and stored correctly
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service shifts
- Help with stock rotation and inventory management by organizing supplies and ingredients
- Dispose of waste responsibly while adhering to recycling protocols
- Support serving staff by delivering clean dishes and assisting with basic customer service needs when required
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel kitchen, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is most important
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as cleaning procedures and food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy settings
Pay: £12\.35\-£14\.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16\.0 – 32\.0 per week
