We are currently recruiting a full time Kitchen Porter for our Beaumont Lodge Transitional Care unit
As a kitchen assistant you will be required to complete tasks in the kitchen including duties such as cleaning, washing up and basic food preparation.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Senior Kitchen Staff within a Nursing Home setting
- Keeping Kitchen area clean \& tidy
- Operating dishwasher \& other kitchen equipment
- Filling \& emptying catering trolleys
- Managing waste management
- Some food preparation
- Assisting with clearing tables on the dining room floor
- Cleaning Dining Room area
- Familiarise yourself with the Food Hygiene Manual and follow the standards stipulated.
- Ensure thorough and frequent hand\-washing.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene requirements before and after using the toilet accommodation.
