Key Account Manager
PORTUGALIACORK is a Portuguese cork product manufacturer and distributor serving B2B wholesale customers across North America and Europe. Drawing on Portugal's long tradition in cork production, we offer products for the pet industry, artificial turf applications, and the wine and packaging sectors. Our focus is on delivering reliable, sustainable solutions and building long\-term partnerships with customers worldwide.
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Key Account Manager to join our growing sales team. You will own relationships with our most strategic wholesale accounts, develop new business opportunities, and play a central role in expanding our presence across international markets. This is a high\-impact role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants to grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and grow a portfolio of key wholesale accounts in North America and Europe
· Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue and margin targets
· Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within existing and new verticals
· Prepare and present commercial proposals, pricing negotiations, and tailored product solutions
· Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
· Collect and submit order forecasts ahead of production cycles, ensuring supply chain alignment
· Represent Portugaliacork at industry events, trade fairs, and customer visits
· Provide structured market feedback to inform product development and pricing strategy
What we're looking for:
· 3\+ years of experience in B2B key account management
· Proven track record of growing accounts and closing deals in international markets
· Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing negotiations and value\-based selling
· Excellent communication and relationship\-building skills
· Fluent in English; Portuguese and/or Spanish is a strong advantage
· Self\-motivated, organised, and comfortable working with autonomy
· Experience using CRM tools and managing pipeline reporting
