Key Account Manager (North) - Survey and Safety

Working for the UK’s premier independent Survey and Site Safety Equipment Specialists. Operating from 5 offices nationwide we specialise in the Hire, Sale and Service of Survey and Safety instruments and equipment to the construction, civil engineering and utility sectors.
As the first point of contact for our customers, the Key Accounts Manager (North) plays a pivotal role in driving our business' success, by building \& maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding our customers’ hire needs and ensuring we can meet them. This is a challenging, fast paced and rewarding role that provides a fantastic platform to grow and progress within Survey Express Services.
A typical day for the Key Accounts Manager will include:
- Maximize sales opportunities and fulfil customers’ needs.
- Target and acquire new accounts to add to an existing portfolio.
- Maintain and update CRM system data as required.
- Effective and consistent account management to develop sales and rental turnover and profit.
- Responsible for continued expansion among existing customers and identifying new target customers and submarkets.
- Focus on ensuring we maintain excellent customer service levels and strategic insight.
- Work closely with Directors to achieve company targets.
- Work with technical support team to ensure customer training and support requirements are met.
- Take responsibility for building and managing a number of existing key accounts nationally.
- Develop positive relationships with customers at all levels.
- Work with All 5 Depot Managers to ensure company targets are exceeded.
Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in selling products \& services to end users.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Proven experience in working in the UK Plant and Tool or Survey and Safety equipment rental market.
- Knowledge of a wide range of surveying equipment with an understanding of the end users requirements of such equipment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and functions.
- Entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethic.
- To be accountable, responsible and have a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment and to meet tight deadlines

Pay: £40,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
