We are seeking a commercially focused Key Account Manager to strengthen Hayley Rail’s presence within the UK rail sector, with a particular focus on developing relationships with existing clients and key industry stakeholders.


About the Key Account Manager role:

This is a dual-focus role, with an immediate priority on developing the customer base, growing revenue, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. Alongside this, the role will support the longer-term strategic objective of positioning Hayley Rail as a trusted and credible industry partner.

The successful candidate will act as the external face of Hayley Rail, building relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring the business is well-positioned within the evolving UK rail landscape.


What we’re looking for in our Key Account Manager:

  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the rail or industrial MRO space

  • Strong understanding of the UK rail industry and supply chain

  • Ability to build and influence relationships at all levels

  • Strong commercial awareness and an ability to drive growth and profitability

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required
