The Kitchen Ninja is a core operational role in the restaurant kitchen. The role focuses on preparing and delivering high\-quality products while strictly applying Manhattn’s recipes, standards and food safety rules. The Kitchen Ninja contributes directly to service speed, product consistency and the overall guest experience.

Impact

The Kitchen Ninja has a direct impact on:

· Product quality, consistency and presentation

· Speed of service and kitchen flow

· Hygiene, food safety and cleanliness

· Guest satisfaction and brand perception

Through precision, teamwork and discipline, the Kitchen Ninja helps ensure every plate leaving the kitchen meets Manhattn’s standards.

Tasks \& Key Responsibilities

1\. Kitchen Execution \& Service (45%)

• Prepare and assemble burgers, sides and other products according to Manhattn’s recipes and standards.


• Operate kitchen stations (grill, fryer, prep, toppings) during service.


• Maintain speed, accuracy and consistency during rush hours.


• Support smooth kitchen flow and ticket management.

• Perform mise en place according to production needs and recipes.


• Support opening and closing procedures of the kitchen.


• Clean and maintain workstations, equipment and utensils.


• Apply correct storage, labelling and FIFO/FEFO rules.

• Apply HACCP rules, hygiene and safety procedures at all times.


• Respect temperature controls, cleaning plans and checklists.


• Ensure a clean, organised and safe working environment.


• Immediately report or correct any food safety or quality risk.

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient teamwork.


• Communicate clearly and respectfully within the kitchen team.


• Maintain a positive attitude and support team spirit on shift.

• Structured Kitchen Ninja training and certification


• Progression towards Kitchen Trainer role


• Further development into Team Leader or Assistant Manager positions

Loon: €16,00 per uur

Ervaring:

• Koken: 1 jaar (Vereist)

• Nederlands (Gewenst)
