Based in Dublin Airport Logistics Park, dnata catering \& Retail Ireland provides catering and inflight services to several international airlines operating from Dublin, Cork \& Shannon Airport.
In September 2020, we expanded operations with a state\-of\-the art facility that quadrupled our catering capacity to enable the delivery of 40,000 quality inflight meals a day. Covering an area of 6,300m², our new facility is equipped with the latest technologies.

What’s the purpose of role:
The Transport Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the day\-to\-day operation of airline catering services by ensuring the accurate flow of operational information between airlines, airport stakeholders and dnata operational teams.
Transport Coordinator is primarily responsible for the timely delivery of catering to and from all flights\- daily allocation of 40 Loaders in the winter and 50 in the summer. This Supervisory role is a critical support position, in a seven\-day 24\-hour operation catering up to 100 aircraft daily, it is key in the delivery of on\-time performance through the optimal cost\-effective use of manpower.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring operational information is received, communicated and acted upon accurately and within required timeframes. You will support flight operations by coordinating documentation, loading plans and transport activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.
You will assist operational teams by ensuring they have the information, documentation and resources required to deliver services efficiently and in compliance with airline and regulatory standards.
Operational Coordination
- Deliver On Time Performance (OTP) in line with Company targets.
- Ensure all outbound aircraft are prepared and dispatched to delivery specification.
- Prepare daily work schedules and flight allocation sheets, ensuring drivers remain compliant with Working Time and Drivers' Hours regulations.
- Supervise the loading team on a shift\-by\-shift basis.
- Support airside marshalling and loader teams, when required, in the servicing of aircraft.
- Ensure all in\-flight equipment is serviceable prior to departure.
- Inform the caterer of aircraft changes, schedule amendments, and additional flights.
- Provide crew meal requirements to the caterer.
- Ensure all flight security declarations and check sheets are completed and signed by loaders.
- Complete weekly timesheets, accurately recording annual leave, overtime, and sickness absence.
- Complete all required operational reporting, including accident reports, investigation reports, and other management reports as required.
- Maintain accurate operational records in line with Company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Report all safety incidents through dnata Hub.
- Ensure security controls are maintained in accordance with AVSEC, Department of Transport requirements, and internal security policies.
- Support loss prevention activities and safeguard airline security standards.
- Ensure compliance with Health \& Safety, safe systems of work, food safety, and security procedures across both the Catering Unit and Ramp operations.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Support Hi\-Loader fleet movements for maintenance activities, breakdowns, and CVRT preparation.
- Report all Hi\-Loader fleet breakdowns promptly and accurately.
- Operate Hi\-Loader vehicles safely and effectively in accordance with training and operational procedures.
- Ensure vehicle operations remain compliant with licensing, CPC, and driver card requirements.
- Assist operational teams during periods of increased workload or operational disruption.
- React positively and effectively to changing operational demands, prioritising activities to meet deadlines and maintain service levels.
- Support business continuity and operational resilience across the catering and airside operation.
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver operational objectives and customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including DAA, EI Ramp, M50 Garage, Dnata, catering providers, and airline customers.
- Support informed and timely decision\-making through effective communication and collaboration.
- Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external partners.
- Act as a key operational liaison to ensure service delivery, operational resilience, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll have:
Knowledge, Skills \& Experience Essential
- Licences \& Certifications
- Current full clean Category C Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Driver Card.
- Able to meet Airside Pass requirements.
- Previous experience with Hi\-Loader operations is desirable.
- Ideally a minimum of three years' experience within Airline Operations, Flight Catering, Ground Handling, or a related operational environment.
- Previous Ramp Operations experience desirable.
