Junior Software Test and Integration Engineer

For our growing AutoStore business, we are looking for a Junior Software Test and Integration Engineer based in Lisbon, Portugal (Office near Parque das Nações / Oriente).
We are hiring a Junior Software Test \& Integration Engineer to support testing, integration, and 2nd‑level support activities for our WES/WAF software. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to grow into a senior technical specialist within a highly customized warehouse execution environment.
You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams across EMEA and receive mentorship to develop into a full integration and support expert.Your tasks
Testing
- Execute test plans and support functional, performance, and regression testing.
- Document defects and support resolution with Development.
- Assist in maintaining test documentation and best practices.
- Support integration of WES software with customer systems.
- Assist in configuring interfaces and commissioning software onsite.
- Help maintain system documentation and customer training materials.
- Participate in the 24/7 support rotation (after onboarding).
- Troubleshoot incidents escalated from 1st‑level support.
- Document cases and ensure proper handover between shifts.
- Technical degree in Software Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in software testing, integration, or support.
- Basic SQL and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with testing tools (Selenium, Appium, TestLink) is a plus.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar tools.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift rotation.
- Motivation to learn and grow into a senior role.
- Technical degree in Software Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years experience in software testing, integration, or support.
