Junior Packaging Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Junior Graphic Designer to join our fast\-paced, creative packaging team. Join our fast\-paced in\-house creative team and help bring products to life across a wide range of categories including Pet, Christmas, DIY, Toys, Homewares and Electricals.

No two days are the same. One day you could be helping develop innovative packaging concepts, and the next you could be creating artwork inspired by the latest home trends or working on exciting new product launches. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands\-on experience across a variety of creative projects while learning from an experienced and supportive team.

Working closely with senior members of the team, you'll receive guidance and support as you build your skills and contribute to real commercial projects from day one. You'll have the opportunity to work on real products, learn from experienced designers, develop your portfolio, and gain valuable commercial design experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This is a full time, permanent position and is fully office based in our Support Centre in Speke, Liverpool L24\.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist senior designers in developing engaging packaging designs.


• Support the creation of artwork for print.


• Work across a variety of design briefs and product categories.


• Liaise with buyers and internal teams to help ensure design briefs are delivered successfully.


• Contribute creative ideas and inspiration to team projects.


• Learn and develop your technical design skills, sharing ideas and discoveries with the wider team.


• Help prepare artwork and design files for production.

What You’ll Bring:

• A good working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.


• Experience with additional Adobe Creative Cloud applications would be beneficial but is not essential.


• A genuine passion for design, branding, packaging and current trends.


• A willingness to learn, take feedback on board and develop new skills.


• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.


• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high\-quality work.


• A positive, collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
