Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Marketing Assistant to join our long\-established business in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in marketing, project management, and analysis within a professional environment.

We’re looking for a creative, ambitious, and forward\-thinking person to produce and development content for our email marketing groups, social media channels and general marketing campaigns.

This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes content, understands modern digital culture, and is excited about using AI tools to help build smarter, faster, and more impactful marketing systems.

You’ll take ownership of our content strategy, creative direction, and audience growth while helping make the business more AI\-savvy across content creation, and communication.

We want someone who takes initiative, brings fresh ideas to the table, and genuinely wants to be part of building something meaningful.

Key Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):

  • Liaise with Sales Manager and Managing Director to plan and execute monthly marketing campaigns.

  • Lead the creative direction and strategy across Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter and TikTok, plus potentially any other social media platforms such as YouTube.

  • Plan, create, edit, and publish engaging content tailored to each platform

  • Develop content calendars and campaign ideas aligned with brand goals

  • Identify trends, opportunities, and viral content ideas

  • Build and grow online communities and engagement

  • Use AI tools to improve content creation, editing, research, and automation

  • Introduce new AI\-driven systems and ideas to help modernise the business

  • Analyse platform performance and optimise content based on insights and analytics

  • Collaborate with the wider team to communicate the brand mission and story effectively

  • Take ownership of creative projects from concept through to execution

  • Maintain organised records of campaign activities, results, and relevant documentation

  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management

  • Attend Exhibitions to film and use in promotional material
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter and TikTok, plus any other social media platforms such as YouTube

  • Strong understanding of social media platform growth strategies

  • Experience creating high\-performing social media content

  • Skilled in video creation, editing, storytelling, and content planning

  • Knowledge of AI tools

  • Self\-starter mentality with the ability to work independently

  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for branding and trends

  • Passionate, proactive, and excited to grow with the business

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Someone who genuinely believes in the mission and wants to make an impact
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience using InDesign and Photoshop – or similar software

  • Experience in using Omnisend or email marketing – or similar software

  • Photography or videography experience

  • Experience building personal brands or company brands online

  • Graphic design skills

  • Experience with automation tools and AI workflows

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
