Junior Maintenance Technician

Are you looking to start or develop your career in hotel maintenance? We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Maintenance Technician to join our growing hotel group.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic handyman skills who is eager to learn, develop new skills, and grow within a successful and expanding hospitality business. Full training and ongoing support will be provided by our highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager.Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily maintenance tasks within guest bedrooms and public areas.


• Repair and replace toilet seats, door locks, and light bulbs.


• Unblock sinks, showers, and toilets when required.


• Carry out minor painting and decorating touch\-ups.


• Assemble and repair furniture.


• Replace silicone seals in bathrooms and kitchens.


• Conduct routine room inspections and identify maintenance issues.


• Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaking taps.


• Carry out simple electrical tasks, such as replacing sockets, switches, and lamps (where qualified and trained).


• Assist with preventative maintenance programmes across the hotels.


• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to a high standard.


• Support the Maintenance Manager with larger projects and repairs.

What We Are Looking For:

• Basic handyman or maintenance skills.


• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.


• Good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Previous maintenance experience is beneficial but not essential.
