Junior Buyer

Role Overview

The Junior Buyer will assist the team in planning and managing all company procurements, ensuring efficient processes and achieving cost savings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and a strong desire to build relationships both internally and externally. They will be responsible for stock management, supplier management, sales support, and monitoring and managing service level agreements (SLAs).

Responsibilities

*Delivery \& Stock Management*

• Review inbound vendor requests in line with business requirements.


• Oversee the inbound movement of goods from suppliers and issue booking in slots.


• Work closely with Product Managers to ensure availability and stock levels.


• Stock \& Aged Stock management.


• Monitor and manage SLA’s

*PO Management*

• Raise purchase orders, chase approval, and send to suppliers.


• Process orders and manage them through to completion.


• Resolution of warehouse dispute notices.


• Maintain and update accurate due dates for product deliveries to our warehouses.

*Pricing and Bids*

• Liaise with Vendors for special bid pricing and manage internal process.

Skills Required

*Background \& Experience*

• Proven administrative experience.


• Basic knowledge of supply chain principles and practices preferred.

• Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.


• Strong communication skills.


• Strong resolution skills.


• Organised with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
