Job Description

ROLE TO BE BASED SANDBACH CHESHIRE CW11 3HT

EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN ENGINEER REQUIRED

  • The successful candidate must have an Engineering Degree, experience of

engineering \& design in a busy engineering office.
  • 3D or equivalent (Minimum 2 years’)

  • If the candidate has not previously worked in this sector it will be necessary to come up to speed with the various regulatory standards including CEN 1789 2010, European Whole Vehicle Type Approval, etc. Relevant training provided.

  • Preparation of workshop instructions \& Layout Drawings from Customer Specification

  • Attend Customer meetings, update drawings \& specifications

  • Produce drawings for fabrication and vehicle conversion \& liaise with suppliers

  • Produce training, maintenance, service manuals \&amp final drawings

  • Preparation of work instructions for operations

  • Prepare IVA applications and regulatory paperwork

Salary depending on experience.
