Junior Automation Engineer

PM Group is looking for Junior Automation Engineer to join our process department. This is an opportunity to be involved in a dynamic engineering department with exposure to multiple projects across different industry sectors. The role will be based onsite in Clonmel.

:

• Control system design for industrial automation equipment from concept stage.


• Liaise with clients and the project design team to develop control system design specifications.


• Select and manage automation contractors through the project life cycle.


• Review and comment on system integrator and vendor design documentation.


• Liaise with automation vendors and keep up to date with the latest automation technology trends.


• Attend control system hardware and software FAT’s.

• Degree Qualification ideally in a related IT, Automation, Computer or other Technical Discipline.


• PAS\-X MES or other MES system.


• Data historian and reporting systems such as OSI PI \& RtReports.


• Shop Floor hardware configuration – Label Printers, Scanners, Tablets, HMIs etc.


• Knowledge or previous exposure to automation systems (e.g. PLCs, DeltaV DCS).


• 2\+ years GxP (life science, pharma, med device) experience.
