Junior Account Manager for Events

Gorilla Design is based in Dublin and offers an all\-inclusive Production and Design service for corporate and private events all over Ireland. They specialise in Event Draping, Lighting, Staging and Set Design. From design, to installation, Gorilla Design’s client focused approach works to produce a bespoke and wonderful event every time.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Junior Account Manager to join the team and work closely with the Senior Management, providing a first\-class experience to a wide variety of clients.
The candidate should be a creative, organised, confident and enthusiastic Events Professional with a solid understanding of corporate and private Events. They will be expected to demonstrate that they have repeatedly created and managed successful conferences, private Events, and exhibitions for various clients over a number of years.
They should have the ability to develop and maintain client business relationships and are expected to have good communication skills. A pro\-active approach to this role is essential and the candidate must be capable and willing to work in a fast changing environment and thus, think on their feet.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in organising, budgeting and managing clients within the Events Industry.
- A broad background within Event Production including experience with client liaising, Lighting Design, Event Design/conceptual development, build and load\-outs.
- A strong track record in the logistical planning and delivery of Events with the ability to lead on all logistical activity relating to the planning and delivery of an Event both on and off site.
- A solid understanding of Draping, Lighting Design and technology, AV, bespoke constructions, event planning and production.
- Ability to advise and consult with the client regarding Design and adapt to the possible changing demands of any Events requirements.
- Strong ability in supplier management and costs negotiations.
- Good team and on\-site crew management skills.
- Ability to contribute input towards creative brainstorming sessions for Events and Company growth.
- Passionate about providing an exceptional experience for clients.
- Calm and flexible, with an ability to respond to last minute changes with ease.
- Willing to work unsociable hours from time to time.
- Must be a highly organised, multi\-tasking team player used to working under pressure.
- Happy to work within a small company and with a ‘get stuck in’ attitude.
- To design and present client pitches including creative design, writing and planning budgets, and logistical planning.
- Financial management of client and company budgets
- Responsibility of complete Event productions from development to delivery.
- Coordinating with the Logistics team to produce schedules, itineraries and documentation for Events.
- Sourcing, appointing, briefing and managing Contractors and 3rd Party Suppliers.
- Resource planning to guarantee perfect delivery solutions for clients and the Company.
- On\-site Event Management including staff delegation and client communication.
- Account management of an existing portfolio of clients as well as building their own portfolio.
