Role summary

In this role, you'll manage and develop relationships with existing customers, identify opportunities to grow accounts, and deliver outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to increase engagement, generate additional revenue, and strengthen long\-term customer relationships.
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries as part of a shared team workload.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow customer accounts through upselling and cross\-selling.
- Build and maintain effective customer relationships, delivering a consistently high standard of service.
- Resolve routine customer queries and issues, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer records, ensuring individual sales targets are achieved.
- Contribute to team objectives and the overall sales performance of the department.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
- Participate in structured product and supplier training to develop product knowledge and technical understanding.
- Work closely with internal departments to gain a comprehensive understanding of the end\-to\-end sales and fulfilment process.
- Receive ongoing coaching and support to develop sales, account management and customer relationship skills.
- Work under the guidance and mentorship of the Sales Manager to support professional development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous experience in a sales, account management or customer service environment.
- Experience of working to individual or team performance targets.
- Experience using a CRM system.
