The Role

Step into the role of

Senior Manager for Multi\-Channel Marketing.

You will be fundamental to our digital transformation and the next phase of growth in the Joules journey. This role is pivotal in supporting the shaping of our paid media strategy, harnessing industry innovation to supercharge performance while maintaining strict brand alignment. You will also champion our organic social and seasonal campaign content strategy; experience in retail marketing is highly beneficial to fully grasp the multi\-channel support our business thrives on.

Working Pattern:
This is a full time role based at ‘The Barn’ \- Joules’ purpose built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. The typical hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and this is an onsite role. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to support live social activations and events. We’re looking for a flexible, forward\-thinking strategist who can plan ahead to ensure seamless publishing across all platforms.

Our Location

Market Harborough in Leicestershire, is where Joules began in 1989\. This market town is home to the brand’s Head Office and is full of independent shops, bars and restaurants. It also benefits from good transport links to London, making it easily accessible for visitors and commuters alike.

What You’ll Do

Lead Storytelling:

Produce compelling, rich content that brings the Joules brand to life across paid and organic social channels.

Empower a Team:

Manage a team spanning paid and organic social social platforms, influencer outreach, community engagement, content creation, and planning as well as retail marketing, maintaining robust KPIs for performance deliverables. You'll develop social tactics and creative communications that inspire people to discover, love, and share the Joules brand.

Master the Mechanics

: Go beyond campaign delivery. We need someone who understands the "nuts and bolts" of community\-building, audience activation, traffic driving, and performance benchmarking. You’ll know social algorithms and trends inside out, with a solid grasp of SEO and emerging tech (like Google developments and ChatGPT) to maximise our content reach.

The day to day will include:

Oversee the digital and paid media team, ensuring performance is delivered in accordance with KPIs to maintain and drive growth in ROAS.

\- Lead the organic and paid social teams to create, curate, and execute a best\-in\-class, fully integrated content strategy that engages our existing community while driving brand awareness across new demographics.

\- Manage all social content as a full\-funnel marketing channel, ensuring tight alignment with the brand marketing calendar, creative campaigns, and the paid performance strategy.

\- Drive our influencer outreach strategy to ensure consistent messaging, and manage key third\-party relationships to maximise brand reach.

\- Partner with the Creative and Copy teams to ensure our brand DNA and tone of voice are consistently represented across all social touchpoints, collaborating on seasonal campaigns aligned with the Creative Director's vision.

\- Oversee the retail marketing team, working closely with internal retail operations to maximise store potential; support licensing and brand partners while actively seeking new marketing opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be an experienced social and content focused marketer at a manager level, with demonstrable experience of driving digital transformation through compelling creative, innovative and integrated marketing strategies.

Having a strong understanding of paid vs organic social strategy as well as a thorough grasp of SEO and how Digital PR can be harnessed to improve performance.

You’ll have direct experience of building outreach and influencer programmes as well as having the day\-to\-day hands\-on experience of developing and running social media channels.

With experience of reporting on organic and paid metrics, you’ll have a desire to innovate and drive growth and results whilst priding yourself on balancing creativity with commerciality.

Experience in using multi\-platform posting and scheduling systems is essential, as is excellent IT skills with a keen understanding of innovation channels, e.g. TikTok

An interest in social trends and current affairs will help support your experience which will ideally be from working in a similar role across a brand, agency or a publication.

As a self\-starter, you’ll see challenges as an opportunity and will strive to continually improve. Creative flair will come naturally alongside demonstrable content creation experience with a strong understanding of the importance of tone of voice and brand consistency. Proven high level experience of strategising and curating campaigns alongside creative counterparts that span platforms as well as an understanding of how this translates to the retail environment, keeping brand and commercial at the heart of everything you do.
