About Your Program

You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early\-career talent hands\-on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates.

What You'll Do

  • Support the category leader, manager and category buyers in day to\-day merchandising activities such as assortment planning, product selection, and inventory management.

  • Assist in vendor communication, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure timely delivery of products and adherence to quality standards.

  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats in assigned product categories.

  • Maintain accurate product data, pricing information, and inventory records in the merchandising system to facilitate effective decision\-making and reporting.

  • Help identify and correct errors in product descriptions, visuals or data.

  • Coordinate with cross\-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches.

  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and analysis for category reviews, business meetings, and executive updates.
About You
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree/ Master's degree in Business, Marketing or related quantitative field. Preferably students in final semester, graduating in 2026\.

  • Relevant experience in retail, merchandising, or buying (through an internship or otherwise) is a plus.

  • No more than 2 years of work experience

  • Familiarity with e\-commerce platforms and online shopping trends is a plus.

  • Basic analytical skills to interpret data and trends.

  • Basic skills in Excel.

  • Proficiency in Chinese and English is a must
