Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong AWS architecture and development expertise to join our team in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate should have hands\-on experience in Java development, AWS\-based solution design, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, REST API development, and monitoring tools such as Grafana.

The candidate will work closely with client stakeholders in an Agile Scrum environment and contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and support of business\-critical applications.

Key Skills \& QualificationsProgramming \& Development

• Strong experience in Java development.


• Experience with Groovy is preferred.


• Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services.


• Strong understanding of software development best practices.

Cloud \& DevOps

• Hands\-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture design.


• Experience with Git for version control.


• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline configuration and management.

Monitoring \& Observability

• Experience with Grafana for monitoring and dashboard creation.


• Knowledge of system monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Collibra.


• Experience in job monitoring, production support, bug fixing, and issue resolution.

Roles \& ResponsibilitiesClient Collaboration

• Work directly with client stakeholders and Scrum teams to understand business requirements and deliver project objectives.


• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.


• Ensure alignment with client expectations and project goals.

Development \& Delivery

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java\-based applications and services.


• Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs and web services.


• Deliver high\-quality solutions within agreed timelines.


• Follow coding standards, development guidelines, and quality processes.

Technical Analysis \& Problem Solving

• Analyze business and technical requirements.


• Perform feasibility studies and Proof of Concept (POC) activities for new initiatives.


• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.


• Support production environments and perform bug fixes when required.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and client\-side stakeholders.


• Provide regular status updates to team members and management.


• Facilitate communication across cross\-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to process improvements and engineering best practices.


• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends.


• Support initiatives that improve team productivity, system performance, and delivery quality.

• Candidates must have strong Java development and AWS architecture/design experience.


• Candidates currently residing in the Netherlands are highly preferred, with preference given to those based in Amsterdam.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: €80\.000,00 \- €85\.000,00 per year
