We are looking for a Technology Supplier Governance Manager to help manage and improve our clients technology supplier ecosystem. This role will ensure suppliers deliver value, meet performance expectations, manage risks effectively, and align with the organisation's technology strategy.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Governance
- Develop and maintain supplier governance processes and frameworks.
- Establish supplier tiering and appropriate governance models.
- Support sourcing strategies that reduce supplier dependency and improve resilience.
- Facilitate governance meetings and executive supplier reviews.
- Identify performance issues and drive improvement plans.
- Review service trends, risks, and escalations.
- Ensure suppliers are delivering agreed outcomes and service quality.
- Support contract renewals, commercial changes, and invoice validation.
- Work closely with Procurement and Legal on supplier agreements and negotiations.
- Help ensure value for money from supplier relationships.
- Act as a point of escalation for supplier-related issues.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure supplier alignment with business needs.
- Support executive engagement with key suppliers.
- Work with Security, Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to address supplier risks.
- Ensure supplier contracts include appropriate controls and obligations.
- Use performance data, risk trends, and service insights to drive better outcomes.
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership.
- Experience managing technology suppliers and third-party partners.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Good commercial and financial awareness.
- Ability to analyse data and provide meaningful insights.
- Understanding of supplier performance management, SLAs, and governance processes.
- Knowledge of technology risk, security, and operational resilience.
- Knowledge of ITIL, SIAM, or service management frameworks.
- Experience working with contracts, renewals, and supplier negotiations.
- Improved supplier performance and service quality.
- Better visibility of supplier spend, risks, and value.
- Effective management of supplier issues and escalations.
- Meaningful insights that support CIO decision-making.
