Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and management of IT service delivery processes aligned with industry best practices such as ITIL.

  • Oversee server management, ensuring optimal performance, security, and disaster recovery readiness for physical and virtual servers including Windows Server, Linux, VMware vSphere, and AWS cloud environments.

  • Manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, Cisco routers, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points to guarantee reliable connectivity and security.

  • Supervise technical support teams providing desktop support, network support, and remote access assistance to end\-users across multiple locations.

  • Implement and monitor information security protocols including network security measures like firewalls, Active Directory management, and cybersecurity best practices to safeguard organizational data.

  • Coordinate disaster recovery plans to ensure rapid recovery from outages or security incidents while maintaining compliance with organizational policies.

  • Utilize tools such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Jira, and SharePoint for network monitoring, incident tracking, project management, and documentation.

  • Lead project management efforts for system upgrades, network engineering initiatives, software development projects, and infrastructure enhancements.

  • Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability.

  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by mentoring team members in technical skills such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint), SQL databases, IIS web services, DHCP configuration, Microsoft SQL Server management, Azure cloud services, and remote access software.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing enterprise IT services with a strong background in server management (Windows Server/Linux), network engineering (Cisco routers/switches), and systems analysis.

  • Extensive knowledge of information security principles including network security measures like firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

  • Demonstrated expertise in disaster recovery planning and implementation within complex IT environments.

  • Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience overseeing technical teams or projects.

  • Proficiency in managing network infrastructure components such as LAN/WAN configurations, DHCP settings, vSphere environments, VMware tools, Azure/AWS cloud platforms.

  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks for service management along with project management methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills capable of translating technical concepts into clear language for stakeholders at all levels.

  • Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; SharePoint; ServiceNow; Jira; Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Windows Server; Microsoft SQL Server; Active Directory; IIS web server; Remote access software; Firewall configuration tools; Cisco networking equipment; Linux operating systems; AWS cloud services; vSphere virtualization platform; SolarWinds monitoring tools.
