IT Field Support Technician - Immediate Start

- You must live within a one\-hour commute to LE3
- This role involves travelling between two school sites

Salary:£25,000–£34,000 per year DOE
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an onsite/field\-based IT Support role
- Level 3 industry\-specific IT qualification (such as CompTIA A\+)
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune
- Hands\-on experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Windows, Android and iOS
- Knowledge of VPNs, LANs, DNS and Firewalls
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Well organised with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
We're looking for an experienced IT Field Support Technician who is calm and compassionate to join our growing team, providing onsite IT support to two SEN schools in the Leicester area.
Working as part of a fast\-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP), you'll deliver outstanding technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help ensure schools' IT systems operate efficiently. This is a varied, customer\-facing role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support across multiple school sites
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues
- Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops and peripherals
- Manage user accounts, permissions and device configuration
- Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including VPNs, LANs, DNS and Firewalls
- Deploy software, updates and security patches
- Record and manage support requests using the Halo ticketing system
- Carry out routine system maintenance, backups and updates
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
- Resilience, compassion and flexibility
- Previous experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
- Experience as a Field IT Technician
- Experience supporting Special Educational Needs (SEN) environments
- Comfortable working in a fast\-paced, structured environment
