An in studio working model
We believe the best work happens when we're together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection. That's why this role will be based in our East London Studio 5 days a week. A shift pattern will be run for early call times and late wrap times. Flexibility will be possible around shoot schedules.
 
What does an Inventory Coordinator do at WPP Production?
Reporting into the Resource Coordinator, the Inventory Coordinator will contribute to the smooth running of the Studio and the on-set experience. They are responsible for the timely preparation of wardrobe, props and other inventory items in advance of shoot bookings. They will also run the process for checking the quality of returned items and ensure they are logged in our database. The Inventory Coordinators support the day-to-day operations of our studio facility, handling administrative duties and providing support to stylists and production crew.
Key Responsibilities
• Review inventory booking request and confirm or request required detail.
• Manage deliveries of new inventory items into the building, captures them in our inventory management tool and provides a storage solution
• Manages the inventory storage space and ensure it is tidy and well cared for at all times.
• Supporting the stylists in preparing all pre-booked inventory items in timely advance of a shoot.
• Facilitate a flexible approach to inventory management when the scope of a shoot changes on set
• Highlight physical assets requiring repairs, faulty equipment and end-of-life items. Coordinating their sustainable disposal and suggesting cost-effective 
 replacement where directed.
 
Requirements
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Be proactive - Anticipate needs before being asked
• A problem-solving mindset, adaptable to dynamic production environments and unexpected challenges.
• Basic knowledge of film, photography, props styling or studios is beneficial but not required
