Internship - ESG Communications Specialist

*DHL Express Italy*, a leading global company in the field of express transportation and logistics services, part of DHL Group, awarded Great Place To Work, is looking for an intern to join our Sustainability Team at the Innovation Campus in Peschiera Borromeo (MI). • A 6\-month full\-time internship, with an allowance of €800 gross/month and meal vouchers (€8\.00 per day in the office / €7\.00 during remote work).


• Company shuttle service from Milan (from Milano Rogoredo, Lambrate, and Segrate stations).

WHAT WILL YOU BE IN CHARGE OF?* Preparing customer meetings with a specific focus on ESG topics.

• Preparing and facilitating ESG workshops and presentations with internal business functions (e.g., Sales, Operations, Customs).


• Supporting the management of ESG projects and initiatives.


• Researching and scouting NGOs, Foundations, and Social Cooperatives aligned with the ESG goals and priorities of different departments.


• Monitoring European ESG regulations and analyzing/sharing their organizational impact with the relevant functions.


• Collecting data and preparing ESG project reports for reporting purposes (e.g., internal reports, the ESG section of the Management Report, external communication materials).


• Collaborating in managing the Volunteer Community, drafting the "Sustainability in Action" newsletter, and supporting working groups for the Sustainability Committee and Gender Equality Certification (approx. 80 people).


• Editing ESG content for external communications and product marketing.

YOUR PROFILE* A strong interest in diving into the Sustainability and ESG world.

• A passion for data analysis.


• Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and the English language.

*Nice to have:** A University Degree.

• Availability to travel within Italy (approximately once a quarter).


• A proactive attitude toward innovative solutions in managing tasks.
