International Sales Account Manager: Powering Global Growth
- Location: Hybrid (Newport office plus home) with international travel
- Salary: £32k \- £37k \+ performance bonus \+ benefits
- Hours: Monday to Friday, full time
Genpower is the exclusive worldwide licensee for JCB Power Products, distributing JCB\-branded power tools and petrol\-powered equipment across international markets. Headquartered in Pembrokeshire with multiple global sites, we manage a rapidly expanding distributor network across construction, industrial and trade sectors.
As we continue to scale internationally, we are seeking a high\-performing International Sales Account Manager to take full ownership of assigned territories and distributor relationships. This is not a maintenance account management role. You will be accountable for driving commercial performance, developing strategic partnerships and unlocking growth across international markets.
The Opportunity: Strategic Ownership \& Global Growth
Reporting to the International Sales Manager, you will be the architect of your assigned regions. Your objective is clear: transform distributor relationships into high\-performance, long\-term partnerships.
Territory Ownership \& Distributor Performance
- Take full ownership of assigned international territories and distributor accounts
- Act as the main commercial contact, driving performance against sales targets
- Transform distributor relationships into high\-performing, growth\-focused partnerships
- Build strong, long\-term partnerships with distributors across multiple regions
- Provide product training, launch support, merchandising guidance and commercial input
- Drive distributor capability improvement and performance uplift over time
- Identify, secure and develop new distributors to expand market penetration
- Support international market entry strategies and build structured pipelines
- Evaluate market opportunities and shape go\-to\-market approaches
- Develop regional sales plans including targets, pricing strategy and promotional activity
- Use market insight to adapt product positioning and commercial approach by region
- Ensure structured forecasting and performance tracking across all accounts
- Represent the JCB brand at international trade shows and customer meetings
- Conduct distributor visits and joint end\-customer engagement activity
- Monitor competitor activity and feed structured market intelligence back to the business
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline visibility and stock forecasting
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, product, finance and customer service teams
- Support smooth execution of campaigns, launches and distributor initiatives
You are a commercially minded heavy\-hitter who thrives on accountability and in diverse business environments.
- The Professional: You have a proven track record in B2B sales or account management. Experience in export markets or working with international distributors is highly preferred.
- The Relationship Builder: You are a persuasive communicator and a skilled negotiator, capable of balancing strategic planning with hands\-on execution.
- The Globalist: You possess the cultural fluency to navigate international markets and are energised by the prospect of frequent global travel.
- The Technician (Bonus): A background in machinery, tools, or industrial equipment is a plus, but your commercial grit is what matters most.
