INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS COORDINATOR

Job Overview

Requires an International Logistics Coordinator who understands both UK export regulations and Pakistan's import clearance frameworks.

• Logistics \& Distribution: Overseeing freight forwarders, carrier negotiations, customs compliance, and international/domestic shipping schedules.


• Inventory Control: Managing stock levels, preventing supply chain bottlenecks, and auditing incoming/outgoing goods.


• Teamwork: Work with sales staff, dispatch items to ensure delivery deadlines are met.

Duties

• Oversee international export operations, ensuring timely and accurate shipment processing in compliance with customs regulations and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) standards where applicable.


• Manage transportation management systems.


• Coordinate logistics activities involving 3PL providers (Third\-Party Logistics), freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to optimize shipping routes and reduce costs.


• Negotiate rates, terms, and service levels with transportation providers to secure the best value for the company while maintaining high service standards.


• Monitor supply chain performance metrics, analyze data for continuous improvement, and implement strategies to enhance overall logistics efficiency.


• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, export documentation requirements, and FDA regulations to prevent delays or penalties.

Core Skills to Look For

• Systems Expertise: Proficiency in logistics and enterprise software.


• Data Analytics: The ability to trace metrics like Cost Per Order (CPO), On\-Time In\-Full (OTIF) delivery rates, and inventory turnover.


• Problem\-Solving: Strong crisis management skills to handle customs delays, damaged freight, or carrier disruptions.


• Duty: The manager will likely pack boxes, directly communicate with carriers, and build processes from scratch.


• LANGUAGES: English, Punjabi, Urdu


• UK LICENCE: Must have a UK licence; need to pick up orders or drop shipments to DHL, FedEx, Evri etc
