As International Demand Planning Manager you are part of the Supply Chain team of La Lorraine Bakery Group within the Business Unit (BU) Frozen. This BU is one of the European market leaders for frozen bake\-off products in retail and food service, with the ambition to further transform the bakery market worldwide.
De functie
- Lead the demand planning process for a scope of European customers by
- + Understanding past/ future assumptions, market data and historical data at the appropriate level of detail and horizon.
+ Managing closely phase in/phasing out of products and aligning demand with supply (zero food waste).
+ Delivering weekly/monthly demand upload into the supply planning process.
+ Understanding changes (up/ down/ promotions) in forecast, reviewing feasibility with the respective supply planner and communicating feedback with the sales team.
+ Identifying risks and opportunities as part of the S\&OP Process.
- Ensuring all functions contribute and own their part and work closely with internal stakeholders to contribute to optimal cost, cash and service balance via accurate Demand Forecast on mid and long term.
- You dare to challenge the sales manager and country directors by using strong data\-based analysis to improve forecasting.
- You take on the role of manager, influencing and coordinating cross\-functional teams—without direct reporting lines—to drive progress in important business changes and projects.
- You actively identify and implement improvements in the demand planning process. (governance, segmentation, statistical forecast, …)
- Take the lead in several projects impacting the supply and distribution network of Western\-Europe
- Play a key role in the implementation and rollout of new demand planning tool across the Western Europe markets.
- You hold a master’s degree in an economic orientation
- You have a solid professional experience in Demand planning of minimum 2 to 3 Years
- You speak and write in Dutch and English fluently. Knowledge of French is a plus.
- You have good communication skills and are able to communicate with all levels in the organization.
- You have strong analytical skills, you love to work in excel and you’re good at it.
- You are able to clearly prioritize, maintain a helicopter view, and avoid getting lost in details while keeping a strong understanding of your market at all times.
- Knowing your way in SAP is a plus.
