Working as part of our fast paced sales team, your primary responsibility will be to develop your own portfolio of B2B customers by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing prospects and converting enquiries into long\-term accounts. Using a combination of our existing customer database, CRM system and your own market research, you'll proactively contact businesses, understand their requirements and establish yourself as their preferred metal supplier.

Leengate Metals is a non ferrous stockholder, selling sheet and long products in Stainless Steel, Aluminium and yellow metals from its head office in Nottingham. Part of the Leengate Group, which was founded in 1957, Leengate Metals is a well\-established business that is built on offering an excellent service to its loyal customer base, across many different industries.

Responsibilities\-

Build and manage your own portfolio of business customers.

Generate new business from our existing customer database.

Research and identify new manufacturing and engineering companies throughout the UK.

Conduct proactive outbound sales calls and email campaigns.

Build long\-term customer relationships.

Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities.

Negotiate sales and convert quotations into orders.

Work with purchasing, logistics and warehouse teams.

Maintain accurate CRM records.

Achieve sales and activity targets.

Keep up to date with products, pricing and market trends.

Qualifications\-

Excellent communication and telephone skills.

Confident speaking with business customers.

Self\-motivated with a proactive approach.

Strong organisational skills.

Good Microsoft Office skills.

Professional, positive and resilient attitude.

Previous B2B sales experience.

CRM experience.
