Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Internal Sales Executive to support and grow our renewables category.

This role goes beyond processing orders—you will be responsible for converting enquiries into profitable sales, developing customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities within our existing customer base.

For the right individual, this role offers a clear progression path into an External Sales position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to inbound sales enquiries via phone, email, and trade counter with urgency and professionalism

  • Proactively contact customers to generate new business and maximise existing accounts

  • Convert quotations into orders, maintaining strong margin discipline

  • Develop a strong understanding of renewables products (heat pumps, EV chargers, solar)

  • Support customers with product selection, specifications, and technical guidance

  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, installers, and developers

  • Position AIB as a trusted supplier within the renewables space

  • Work closely with the external sales team to identify and develop key accounts

  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, activity, and pipeline
Requirements
  • Experience in B2B or internal sales, ideally within electrical wholesale or construction supply

  • Confident communicator with a professional and proactive approach

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Self\-motivated with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets

  • Proven ability to sell and influence—not just process orders

  • Commercial awareness with a clear understanding of margin and profitability
