We are seeking a proactive and organised Internal Sales and Logistics Person to join our team. This role involves managing sales administration, coordinating logistics, and providing excellent customer service to ensure smooth operations. Duties
- Manage sales administration tasks using Sage, Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Coordinate logistics activities including order processing, scheduling deliveries, and tracking shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and inventory levels.
- Liaise with customers to provide exceptional service, answer enquiries, and process orders efficiently.
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and presentations.
- Organise schedules for deliveries and pickups to optimise logistical efficiency.
- Utilise IT systems to update customer information and manage data securely.
- Assist in resolving any logistical or sales\-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to sales and logistics.
- Previous administrative experience is preferred, ideally within a sales or logistics environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
- Experience with CRM software such as Sage or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrable computer literacy and IT skills relevant to sales administration roles.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with good time management skills.
- Customer service experience is advantageous, with a focus on delivering professional support.
