Fixed\-Term Contract with a mid\-September 2026 start

Salary: £135,000 – £180,000 (pro\-rated for contract duration) \+ bonus

Contract: Approximately 10 months to June/July 2027

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in our London office

Reports to: CEO

At Attest, we help the world's most ambitious brands make confident decisions through consumer research. We're on a mission to bring every business closer to consumers — empowering them with the insights that drive predictable, repeatable growth.

We're looking for an experienced VP of Marketing to join us on a maternity cover contract, stepping in for our Director of Marketing as she goes on leave in early October. You'll lead our marketing function during a pivotal period — one in which we're deepening our AI transformation, sharpening our growth engine, and evolving what great B2B SaaS marketing looks like at the $20–40M ARR stage.

You'll report into the CEO and sit on the Executive Leadership Team, working cross\-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to drive pipeline, brand, and demand.

What you'll be responsible for
----------------------------------

*Growth Marketing Leadership*

This is where we need you most. Our growth marketing function is the engine of our pipeline and we need a hands\-on leader who can unlock performance to help us blast past 35% YoY growth.

  • Own and evolve our demand generation strategy across paid, organic, email, and lifecycle marketing — with a clear focus on pipeline and revenue contribution.

  • Drive acquisition across our core ICP segments — B2B enterprise buyers with contract values in the \~$100k range.

  • Use data to make fast, confident decisions on channel mix, spend allocation, and performance optimisation.

  • Continue building our AI\-powered marketing workflows — automating repetitive work, accelerating content, and scaling experimentation.

  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to tighten the marketing\-to\-revenue loop.

*Team Leadership*

You'll lead a talented team of 5\-7 people spread across London and the US, covering three functions:

  • Growth Marketing \- your core focus and priority area for uplift

  • Product Marketing

  • Brand \& Content Marketing
You'll provide clarity, coaching, and momentum — keeping the team energised and focused during a transitional period. You'll be a genuine people manager: someone who invests in their team, gives clear feedback, and creates the conditions for people to do their best work.

You’ll also have overall ownership of our agency spend and contract allocation, and be part of the ongoing relationship management.

*AI Transformation*

We've started a shift toward AI\-native ways of working in the marketing team, and we want you to accelerate it.

  • Champion and embed AI tools across the team \- from content creation to campaign optimisation.

  • Identify where AI can remove bottlenecks and unlock higher\-leverage activity.

  • Help build a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement around new technology.

*Brand \& Strategic Direction*

While we have a strong Brand Manager in place, you'll bring the strategic eye that ensures everything we put out holds together — coherent, differentiated, and right for the B2B SaaS buyer.

  • Maintain quality and consistency across all marketing output.

  • Contribute to and evolve our brand positioning in a competitive market.

  • Ensure product marketing narratives, growth campaigns, and brand expression are well\-aligned.

*Cross\-Functional Collaboration*

  • Partner with Sales leadership to align on pipeline targets, campaign strategy, and account\-based initiatives.

  • Work with Product and Customer Success to build compelling product launch and expansion narratives.

  • Report into the CEO and Exec with clear, data\-driven marketing performance updates.
What we're looking for
--------------------------

We're open\-minded about background, but likely you will:

  • Have operated at VP level in a B2B SaaS business, ideally in the $20–40M ARR range.

  • Have direct experience with enterprise contract values in the $50–100k range. You understand how marketing supports longer, more complex sales cycles.

  • Be fundamentally a growth and performance marketer at heart \- data\-driven, pipeline\-obsessed, and comfortable with paid, lifecycle, and demand gen levers.

  • Be a strong people manager who has led cross\-functional marketing teams, ideally across multiple geographies.

  • Have real experience driving AI transformation in a marketing team; not just awareness, but hands\-on adoption.

  • Bring a sharp eye for brand \- you know what great looks like, even if you're not executing it yourself.

  • Be comfortable stepping into an established function quickly, building trust fast, and providing confident, decisive leadership.

  • Bring strong cross\-functional influencing skills — able to work closely with Sales, Product, and the exec team.
This is a cover role with a fixed start date, so we're specifically looking for someone who can hit the ground running — no long ramp required.

Why this role matters
-------------------------

This isn't a seat\-warmer role. You'll be stepping into a genuinely exciting moment for Attest. We're growing, we're transforming, and marketing has a real seat at the table.

You'll ensure our growth engine doesn't miss a beat during this period. You'll give the team the leadership, challenge, and support they need to keep performing. And you'll leave the function in better shape than you found it.

Our benefits
----------------

  • 25 days holiday per year plus additional festive days (pro\-rated for fixed\-term contracts)

  • £240 yearly L\&D budget, plus access to a larger budget for qualifications and courses

  • Private Medical Insurance

  • 1 day per quarter to do charity or community work

  • Enhanced parental leave
We want to give everyone the opportunity to showcase their best selves during the interview process and beyond. Do let us know if there are any adjustments you’d like to make to ensure it’s more inclusive – we’re learning too, so we’re more than happy to adapt and accommodate where possible.

Please note that we're unfortunately not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
