Interim Assistant Year End Accountant

Can you bring control to a complex post-acquisition finance project? Do you thrive on balance sheet reconciliations and finding issues others miss? Looking for a contract where you can make an immediate impact?

We're recruiting an Interim Assistant Year End Accountant for a fast-moving property organisation following a recent acquisition and legal entity restructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reconciling balances from one legacy entity into multiple newly created entities


• Supporting year-end accounts and audit completion


• Responding to auditor queries and assisting with financial statements


• Reviewing data migration accuracy and identifying discrepancies


• Providing additional capacity to a busy finance team during a major transition

This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant with strong balance sheet reconciliation and year-end experience. Experience of acquisitions, restructures or complex entity environments would be highly beneficial.

Hybrid working of 1-2 days per week in the London office which is easy accessed by public transport. Role is inside IR35, paid via Umbrella company.

• Qualified or nearly qualified accountant


• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience


• Experience supporting the preparation of Financial Statements/Year-end accounts and audit support experience


• Able to work independently and hit the ground running


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
