Deloitte’s Investment Management and Wealth practice is actively engaged across the industry to support delivering a wide range of operational, technical, and regulatory solutions designed to help the players across the value chain create a competitive advantage and achieve their growth ambitions. Our practice works closely with leading Private Banks, Wealth Managers, Asset Managers and Asset Servicing firms to solve large complex problems, with a particular emphasis on optimising and transforming back\-office operations.

This is a key role where you will lead and facilitate project delivery within complex insurance transformation programmes, ensuring projects meet time, budget, scope, and quality standards, often leveraging Agile methodologies. You will act as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or Junior Project Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to required scope and quality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, developing comprehensive plans and resource requirements.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to minimise delivery impact.
- Effectively communicate project status, progress, risks, and issues to all stakeholders, including senior leadership and clients.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring alignment on project goals and facilitating effective decision\-making.
- Oversee the quality of project deliverables, ensuring they meet defined standards and business requirements, and manage change control.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand\-ups, reviews, retrospectives) and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Manage project backlogs, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of features and releases within an insurance context.
We are seeking an individual with strong project delivery experience in the insurance sector, capable of bridging business and technology. The following are the core skills and experience required to excel in this role:
- Strong project delivery experience within the insurance sector, capable of acting as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or Junior Project Manager.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification preferred, with hands\-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
- Proven ability to manage project backlogs, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of features and releases within an insurance context.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, effectively bridging technical and business stakeholders and managing expectations.
- Demonstrates a bias for action, a problem\-solving mindset, and ability to operate independently to resolve project impediments.
- Proven experience in designing, mobilising, and leading project delivery, with experience in agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Experience in planning, dependency management, risk management, benefits management, governance, and reporting.
- Ability to build, lead, and motivate cross\-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and translating complex business needs into technical user stories and acceptance criteria for insurance solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and understanding of how data analytics, machine learning, and AI concepts apply in insurance projects.
- Experience with or strong understanding of key insurance alliance technologies and vendor solutions.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Planview, Linear, Monday.
- Commercial and risk awareness, ideally in a professional services environment or with consulting partners.
- Knowledge of industry trends and insights, applying lessons learned to clients.
- Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner Certified; Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Certified; APM (Association of Project Management) or PMI (Project Institute) Membership.
